Welcome on DIA SOLAIRE website
DIA-SOLAIRE, a project funded by the French National Research Agency, is dedicated to the development of intelligent tools for diagnosing and forecasting the health of photovoltaic (PV) power plants, taking into account technological, human and environmental factors of influence.
The main objectives of DIA-SOLAIRE are to develop tools based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to diagnose and anticipate PV plant performance drifts, to contribute to improved knowledge of PV component degradation and failure modes, and to establish recommendations for PV plant maintenance and management practices.
The tools developed as part of DIA-SOLAIRE are based on quantitative approaches using physical models, statistical techniques and advanced machine learning methods, as well as qualitative approaches including the study of operating and maintenance practices via semi-directive interviews.
DIA-SOLAIRE is now a consortium of associations, companies and academic partners committed to the development of photovoltaics (PV). It aims to :
- Support the solar industry,
- Improve maintenance practices,
- Reduce PV plant operating costs.
